We developed and adhere to a Cosmetica Clean Commitment, which prohibits the inclusion of certain ingredients in our formulations, including ones that are prohibited or restricted by the USFDA or Health Canada, as well as additional blacklist ingredients identified by major beauty industry players. We review our internal ingredient blacklist on a regular basis to ensure it is current as trends and ingredient safety awareness evolves. We will also work with our clients to customize ingredient lists to comply with client specific concerns and requirements.

We are compliant with Health Canada’s Cosmetic Regulations and the Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist. Our practices also comply with the USFDA, EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and China’s cosmetic standards.

As part of our focus on sustainability, we also respect international treaties and initiatives such as the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
